Blueant Q2 bluetooth headset review – we tested it, you’ll love it

Need a Bluetooth headset that stands out head and shoulders above the pack?  Blueant have a serious contender that is worth every penny.

Pros: True multipoint (connect with 2 phones at the same time and answer whichever one rings), enhanced voice command list including commands to hear stock quotes, movie times, directions, weather forecasts, sports results, news and traffic updates., Audio streaming was great as well as the noise reduction in windy areas.

Cons: the grill covering the exterior of the headset looks fantastic with hundreds of tiny holes, the negative side is that lint and dust particles stick to it.  The holes are smaller than a tooth pick and I found that a strip of tape worked great at removing dirt and debris.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 review & the dead iPhone 4G

Review date: September 22nd, 2010.

What we like: The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has an exceptionally beautiful screen, 8.1MP camera, and a unique interface that allows the user to work and socialize on the same stage as the best phones in the marketplace.

What we don’t like: Android 1.6.  Why do some Android handsets like the Droid 2 get Froyo and others don’t?

Review: The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10

MakerBot Thing-O-Matic 3D printer is a breakthrough in 3D printing technology

MakerBot Thing-O-Matic 3D printer is a breakthrough in 3D printing technology

Fully Automatic
The MakerBot Automated Build Platform is truly a revolution in 3D printing. Updated to be larger for the Thing-O-Matic, it allows you to have a print queue where your machine will clear the build surface between builds by printing, then ejecting. It prints objects one after another. This turns your MakerBot into a little factory that sits on your desktop. Best of all, this is completely automated: you hit print, and the machine does all the work. Want to print 100 butterflies? Easy. Want to print an entire chess set? No problem. Want to start a business selling printed things that you’ve designed? Awesome. Have the MakerBot Thing-O-Matic 3D printer do all the work while you design new things.

Do it yourself – Glowing video tape USB hub

Check out this very cool update on your old Video Tape (VHS & BETA) that we found on Instructables.  I’ve got to say, the instructions are very simple, and most already have the parts laying around in your house.  30minutes of tinkering and you too can have a one of a kind talking piece inside your office cubicle.  This is a great example of Green Technology at its best saving another plastic cassette housing from the landfill.

LaCie MosKeyto Ultra Small USB Flash Drive. 20mm long & just 10 grams

LaCie introduces the MosKeyto, an ultra-small USB flash drive with up to 16GB of storage capacity. With Prices starting at $17.99, it hardly appears to be any different than all the thousands of USB drives flooding the market place.  Surely it can’t compare to the Sushi shaped USB drives or the 16GB Hello Kitty drive my daughter has.  WRONG! The MosKeyto measures less than 20mm and weighs 10 grams,.  When plugged in, it barely sticks out the side of your computer.  For the road warriors and students of the world, you will fall in love with the form factor of this USB drive.  Leave it plugged into your laptop without having to worry that it will get broken off.  MosKeyto is housed in sleek black plastic and comes with a durable nylon strap to attach to an accessible key ring and a cap to protect its USB 2.0 connector.  Way to go LaCie, finally an innovation that truly solves real world problems.
