Kno, Inc give us all a first look at its new dual-screen tablet. The device known as the Kno has two 14.1” screens with 1440 x 900 resolution. The device folds up just like a notebook making what is really a sizable device much smaller and portable. Each screen has its own battery which allows for around 8 hours of battery life. The Kno is powered by a Tegra 2 processor and has 16 GBs of internal storage space. It runs on a Linux based browser style operating system and has full web functionality including Flash. The target market for this device is students and as such, the device doubles as a textbook e-reader. At over 5 pounds, the Kno is big, but when you consider that it is designed to replace a students textbooks and notebooks, 5+ pounds next to a backpack full of textbooks doesn’t sound too bad. Pricing hasn’t been announced but is expected to be under $1000.

LG is getting ready to release the UX10, a Windows 7 Home Premium based tablet computer. It is a good looking device with a 10.1 inch screen, an Intel Atom Z530 processor with 1GB of RAM. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera for web video, micro HDMI out for high definition connection to your TV and an SD card slot. After HP gave up on their Windows 7 tablet, many started to question whether or not Windows 7 would be able to run on a tablet device. LG is setting out to prove that not only will it run, but it will put on a show. We don’t have confirmed pricing information on this device yet.
So, there you have it. Three highly anticipated tablets all running different operating systems and each with a variety of technology that makes them unique and desirable. Each of these devices are well powered and should provide a pretty good mobile experience.
