The face of TV as we know it is about to change, just ask Google. The search engine giant, and master of just about all things digital is jumping into the TV bizz as we announced on May 23rd of this year. The big difference is that Google has found a way to merge the TV and the Internet into one machine and make them work together in what I think are some really cool ways.

Updated Apps Starting to Filter In
Yesterday many of us received some good news and a reminder that the highly anticipated release of Apple’s iOS 4 for the iPhone 4, iPhone 3Gs and 2nd & 3rd Generation iPod Touch is happening on Monday.
Apple notified developers a little over a week ago that they would start accepting updated apps that allow for the multitasking functionality of the new operating system. At the time, many of us were concerned that the time developers would need to update their apps and the time Apple would need to approve those updates would mean that multitasking apps might not even be available for Monday’s launch. It appears that facebook’s power as one of the most trafficked sites on the web as well as the fact that it has over 400 million members are key reasons that people are adopting it as a part of their websites. When you click on a website’s “like” button, it posts a link notifying anyone that might see it, that you like the site, page, or item that the “like” button is attached to.
