The Motorola Xoom is a very solid piece of tech gear that we were exited to get our hands on.  Thanks again to our friends at Verizon Wireless for sending us the Motorola Xoom, and Motorola Droid 3.  That takes care of the necessary niceties let’s get down to business.  DViceNews provide unbiased quality reviews of the latest tech gadgets in terms that everyone can understand.  If you ever have a question or feedback on any of our product reviews, please post a comment below.

Jawbone’s new Bluetooth headset called the Icon gets put to the test. Pass or fail?

For a long time, I’ve been looking for a new bluetooth headset. And, I

haven’t been able to part with my Motorola HT820′s. I love the HT820′s

comfort and range but they aren’t your everyday walk-and-talk headset.

Hardware

This super sleek, clean headset is probably the most simple device I’ve ever

used. There’s only one button. After having used it for a while now, I do

wish they would’ve included a volume rockers. However, I’m not sure how that

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 review & the dead iPhone 4G

Review date: September 22nd, 2010.

What we like: The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 has an exceptionally beautiful screen, 8.1MP camera, and a unique interface that allows the user to work and socialize on the same stage as the best phones in the marketplace.

What we don’t like: Android 1.6.  Why do some Android handsets like the Droid 2 get Froyo and others don’t?

Verizon Motorola Droid 2 product review

Motorola’s Droid 2 is one of the first Android phones to ship with Froyo 2.2 pre-loaded and is a noticeably improved version of the original Droid.  It’s the best phone with a keyboard out there at the time of this review and can be compared to a Droid X minus the keyboard and a smaller screen.  A 3.7 inch 854×480 TFT LCD capacitive touch screen, 1-GHz TI OMAP processor nearly double the original Droid’s 550MHz processor.  The phone comes with 8GB of internal memory and an 8GB microSD Card, expandable up to 32GB.  Changing the microSD card requires first taking out the battery which was a little inconvenient.  Network coverage in the areas tested was excellent, over the course of 2 weeks, I did not have a single dropped call

App Review – Opera Mini for iPhone

Now that I’ve had a few days to play around with the newly released Opera Mini browser app for iPhone, I thought it would be a good idea to circle back around and post some feedback.

To start, it is probably worth noting that Opera announced today that their app has been downloaded over 1 million times already.  This probably isn’t that big a surprise for those of us that have been paying attention as Opera Mini has been the top of all free apps in each of the 22 app stores by country throughout the world.   I’d say that indicates folks were ready for a little something new.
